Kumbia 4.11.20

 Early morning walk to circumnavigate the lagoon, 2.89kms, before we pack up and move on.

First stop was Dalby for supplies then on to the town of Bell, which we had never stopped at before.

The 2nd church, St Marys catholic,  was beautiful and had biblical gardens to wander through. 


Loads of murals.

The garden depicted the story of Jesus.

The Bellview hotel impressed us do much we stopped for a cold drink. 

Back on the road after a very delicious lunch at a café in Bell.

Kumbia donation camp for the night. Lovely hot showers. We travelled 175kms today.

Settled in to watch the State of Origin.

Chinchilla 29.10.20

 We delayed our departure for a couple of days due to storms. Not sure how long we will be able to stay out due to more storms but the plan is for 10 days. Took the long way and had a not very nice Devonshire tea in Proston. On the way from Proston to Chinchilla  Chinchilla Weir campground   We travelled 362kms.

Tara Lagoon 2.11.20

 We were up early, had a very leisurely & social breakfast and had packed up and on the road at 8.30. We had a huge 56kms to drive. We stopped in at Kogan town to check out the sculptures.  We are staying at the Tara Lagoon for a couple of nights. $10 for 3 nights powered site is amazing.  Walked into town for supplies  Our dinner view as the sun sets.
